This site’s entire value is that its numbers are sourced and dated, so a reader pointing at a stale price or a moved source is doing the most important job here — those emails get read first and fixes ship in the next site build. Second: this is a publication, not a dealer. We do not sell equipment, book installations, give quotes, or make in-home visits — if you email asking for a sales appointment, you have deeply misunderstood the premise, and we will gently say so.

What to write in about

A wrong or stale number — include the page URL and, if you have it, the source that contradicts us; published prices float and we date-stamp for exactly this reason. A broken link or misbehaving calculator — tell us your device and what you clicked; the test suite catches most of this, but “most” is not a warranty. A question a page didn’t answer — genuinely useful, because unanswered questions become the next article. Your quote, if you want a second pair of eyes — we read line items for sport; redact your personal details and we may anonymise the pattern for a future page (never the specifics, never without asking). Press and data-study citations — our 50-state study and its methodology are free to cite with attribution; write in for the underlying dataset.

What not to expect

No mailing list exists, so nothing to subscribe you to. No response-time promises — this is a small operation and honest beats fast. And no water-treatment diagnosis by email: if your question is “what is my water like,” the answer lives in your utility’s free report or a test kit, not in anyone’s inbox — ours included.
